Role Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to spearhead our design efforts and take charge of our product design strategy. In this role, you’ll lead the design team, collaborate closely with clients, and work hands-on to create innovative, user-focused digital products. This is a key leadership position, perfect for a designer who thrives on bringing visionary ideas to life while guiding a team toward delivering exceptional work.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring a high level of quality across all digital products.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define the product vision and design strategy.
Conduct user research and testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are both visually stunning and highly functional.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and meet user experience (UX) best practices.
Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating design rationale and gathering feedback.
Stay up-to-date with design trends and emerging tools to continuously improve the team’s work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for digital products.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Experience leading a design team and mentoring other designers.
Strong understanding of user research methodologies, testing, and iteration.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design choices and receive feedback.
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
